It's puuuuurty. The Pebble Steel's main goal is just to look more respectable than the nerd-toy it is
And it pulls that off wonderfully. Between the two bands included
It's easy to find the setup that works for you. And on top of that
The nice-looking
Elegant
High-end design
Easy to use
Customizable watch faces
Growing app store and feature set

Most of my quibbles with the Pebble are small
But they're magnified all the more considering everything around them is so stupid simple and good. You can't customize how long a notification stays on the screen

Attractive design, Display visible in bright light
Display is fairly low resolution
I like how Pebble's watches keep it simple. They're watches with slight upgrades, and don't try to do too much. One day, perhaps even one day soon, we will be strapping crazy sensors all over our bodies, including our wrists, and Pebble's approach might ...
Notifications on the wrist are convenient and helpful, App store expands the possibilities of a wrist-worn device, The ecosystem has good support for data related to weather, sports, and third party services
Seeming lack of app store curation, Cheap construction details (bracelet, leather, and the sharp bezel edge around the screen)
As good as the Pebble Steel experience is — it's reasonably good and getting better everyday with new app store content — we wish it were better. That the hardware be more refined. That the app store have more effective curation. We admit that it's a dif...
The Pebble Steel could serve people well if the following holds true:Do you like wearing watches? Can you wear a masculine-looking watch that doesn't look like fine jewelry?Do you crave the usefulness of the apps and faces available?Do you have an extra $2...
Upgraded Design, Corning Gorilla Glass, Magnetic Charging Connector
Price, Sharp Steel Bezel, Pebble Branding
The Pebble Steel is not a huge update on the hardware side of things. Surely the materials and design make the watch seem slicker, however, internally you have the same Pebble as before. The introduction of the Pebble App Store makes the Pebble platform...

Abstract: AaThere's nothing about the success of the new Pebble Steel smartwatch that you couldn't have predicted by studying tech history. We'll review and make changes needed.UndoOver and over again, gadgets become insanely successful when they do a few things ver...
Premium materials make it appropriate for dressier occasions, Gorilla Glass and 5ATM waterproofing make it tough enough for everyday use
Price may be too high, Nonstandard watch band
We’ve been using Pebble as our daily watch since we first reviewed it nearly a year ago, but there were times when we’d have to slip our Seiko back on because Pebble just didn’t fit the occasion. While the Seiko is a very nice watch, we immediately mis...
Slick new look says “I'm a technology professional” rather than “I'm an early adopter dork.” More apps means greater utility, which means you might actually consider wearing a smartwatch. Waterproof to 5 ATM, same as the original
0 price tag is a bit much for a glorified smartphone remote. We wish it had touchscreen display instead of buttons

No ecosystem is an island. Even the companies generally accused of being the most closed have demonstrated that, these days, if you want your platform to succeed you need to embrace outsiders: developers, enthusiasts, third-party accessory manufacturers...
