  • Very inexpensive. Good call quality. Simple to set up.
  • Requires T-Mobile cell-phone service. The required router is outdated. High international rates. No solution for faxes or home security systems.
  • Extremely basic. This home VoIP service requires you to switch your cell phone over to T-Mobiles service, but $10 for unlimited monthly calls within the U.S. is an unheard-of deal....

  • T-Mobile @Home is easy to set up and use, plus it can be used with any touch-tone phone. You can also add up to two different phone lines per router.
  • You need to purchase a special router from T-Mobile for it to work, and theres a very slight hiss and delay in call quality.
  • T-Mobile @Home is an affordable and easy way to add VoIP service to a regular home telephone. Price range: $10.00

  • Seamlessly switches between Wi-Fi and GSM network; relatively affordable
  • Only compatible with two very average phones; T-Mobile encourages purchasing/using a proprietary home router for service
  • T-Mobile has struck an innovative, affordable idea with its @Home services, but a couple wrinkles need to be ironed out....
