The interface is a huge improvement. The G3 lost a lot of the bloat that plagued the G2
And gained a few useful features. One big one is the smart keyboard that learns how you type the more you type
Which is a given for those kinds of things. But it als

Annoying that you have to take the back off to remove the SIM. And I have said the same thing for the G Flex-I really hate the placement of the volume rocker and power button on the back of the G3. It's annoying
And I feel like I'm always fumbling around
Uncomfort to handle
Plastic material
Display is noticeably better but comes with a lot of implications
2 GB RAM variant might not be enough
Go for the 32 GB/3 GB one
Limited free RAM might be due to Quad HD resolution
Abstract: On Tuesday I was at the LG G3 Day event in London where the company revealed it's LG G3 smartphone . We saw the G3 leak numerous times (we're talking double figures here) before the launch and whilst LG had very little new to show us at the event, I did m...
Abstract: HTC, Samsung, Sony and LG have each now unveiled their flagship handsets for 2014, plus we've seen some outside competition from startup OnePlus. But which is the best Android phone 2014? We compare the S5, Z2, G3, One M8 and OnePlus One spec for spec. Se...
LG handsets have never been much of a threat to those designed by Apple, Samsung and Sony, but with the LG G3, that could be about to change. While its specifications, including its Quad HD screen and laser autofocus, might seem a bit gimmicky on paper...
Abstract: When the LG G2 was released we judged it to be the best smartphone money can buy, and to this day it sits atop our best smartphone 2014 chart. It has set a huge example for the LG G3 to live up to. Here we compare the specs of the LG G2 and LG G3. Don't f...

Abstract: So, today was the big day that LG launched its new flagship phone, the G3 . We've had our hands on it at the London launch event, and we have to say we are rather pleased to have done so, because this is a handset that has the potential to shake things up...
Lightweight chassis isn't premium enough, QHD doesn't wow and could hurt battery
The user interface update is probably the best part of the LG G3, which has moved from a convoluted mess to a sleek, flat icon design. The notification area has been massively stripped back with a thinner typography used (which is prevalent throughout the...
Abstract: It's hard not to approach the brand new LG G3 smartphone with a sense of déjà vu. The run up to the launch of the Korean company's latest flagship has been leakier than Edward Snowden paddling up the Thames in a colander row boat, so one cannot help but h...
Remarkable hi-res display, Laser-focused camera, Slick new interface
It's SO big, Plasticky back cover, One-button control
So is this the perfect phone? It's certainly the most powerful on the market at the moment and like Samsung did with the Galaxy S5, LG has focused on the basics rather than chucking exotic extra hardware features in for their own sake.Apart of course from...
Pin-sharp QHD screen, Good camera, particularly in low-light, Extremely ergonomic for such a large phone, Costs less than the competition, Slick and simple UI
Average battery life, Screen could be brighter, Poor speaker
The LG G3 is LG's best phone yet. The screen is special but we'd have been happy for a 1080p display and better battery life. However the LG G3 has no real weaknesses, it's an all-round great phone.Next, read our best mobile phones round-up...
