  • Great size/shape, 3.5mm jack, solid keyboard and trackball, good battery life
  • No 3G or WiFi, UI needs an overhaul, browser needs more work
  • I was a very big fan of RIMs original mainstream consumer device, the BlackBerry Pearl 8100. It offered good functionality in a nice form factor, and had a great trackball for navigation. For as much as I loved that device, though, I love the Curve ev...

  • Great size, feel and build quality, Nice set of features, Great email capabilities, A good Media device
  • AT&T network is iffy and slow, Call quality was good but not great
  • I love my Pearl. That being said, I think this is BlackBerrys best device to date. The Curve is so nice to hold and use. It feels solid - there is no squeaking like the 8800 and the Pearl. The keys are very tactile and easy to use. BlackBerry Email j...

  • Abstract:  Remember when BlackBerry was a hunky piece of nerdy plastic with no multimedia features? In less than a year, those days have been whisked away so completely by the BlackBerry Pearl, BlackBerry 8800 and BlackBerry 8830 that owning a BlackBerry is now ...

  • Overall I was greatly impressed by the Curve. While it lacks some features that young consumers have come to expect in smartphones, the Curve is arguably the best blend of the business-oriented BlackBerry and a multimedia player to date. The rugged co...

  • Excellent call handling. Push e-mail is business class for consumers. BlackBerry phones have the best battery life of any device.
  • No popular IM clients. Ugly calendar. Disappointing music app, with abysmal transfer software. Slow EDGE networking.
  • Its no wonder that in the weeks leading up to the iPhones release, were seeing a new category of "consumer" or "multimedia" smartphone peek its head out of the earth to look for its shadow. The Curve aims to bring the BlackBerry line to a more ge...

  • The Curve still retains what makes BlackBerry so successful: ease of use, email on the move and a great QWERTY keyboard.
  • BlackBerry continues to give 3G and Wi-Fi a wide berth and, while the multimedia presence is welcome, its not the most realised.
  • The Curve brilliantly continues the BlackBerry tradition in a more compact form, but falls short in the multimedia stakes.
