  • Decent build quality, 5 megapixel camera,
  • Old operating system, screen could be more responsive, slow processor
  • The Alcatel Onetouch 990 is a me-too budget Android that features a better than expected camera and sturdy workhorse build quality, but otherwise doesn't have a lot to recommend it above other budget Androids like the Samsung Galaxy Europa or the LG Op...

  • Cheap and cheerful, Basic phone tasks are handled pleasingly, Android 2.2 runs admirably for a budget smartphone, Good speaker and you can listen to radio, YouTube's great
  • Video capture is poor, Battery will need charging daily, No Flash support, Some jerkiness in web browsing
  • It doesn't quite top the Orange San Francisco for us, but it's worthy to join the high-class, low-budget crowd...

  • Large 3.5-inch screen; solid build quality; 5-megapixel autofocus camera
  • Android 2.2 is slightly outdated; screen is unresponsive; no Flash support in browser
  • The Alcatel OT-990’s large screen, solid construction and 5-megapixel camera make it an attractive device for Android newcomers, but it’s stuck on Android 2.2 and the capacitive screen is less responsive than we’d like....

  • Low price; good build,
  • Poor screen; no Flash support.
  • The Alcatel OT 990 is certainly low cost. The compromises that have been made to meet the low price include an absence of Flash support and a low-resolution screen. The overall effect is a handset that feels compromised. ...

  • The Alcatel OneTouch 990 does everything we'd expect a handset to do with such a low price tag. It's not the lightest or the prettiest phone out there, but for basic mobile phone duties in a handset that can take the odd bump, it's a solid choice, espe...

  • Less than £100; Android OS; loads of features
  • Sluggish touch display can be frustrating

  • Despite being the superior capacitive variety, the touch-screen is laggy and can lead to a frustrating experienceLook and Feel...

  • Abstract:  The Alcatel OneTouch Blaze 990When we did an unboxing for the Alcatel OneTouch Blaze 990 sometime last month, we didn't know it would gather so much interest in that short span of time – at least, it garnered more than we thought it would. Of course, the ...
