TestSeek's Expert Reviews Summary
Staff at TestSeek has read all the expert reviews (so you don't have to) for this product and written a summary of what the editors think about the product.
The Sure SE115 in-ear headphones are part of Sure's lower-end line of headphones. At around 100 bucks, this doesn't mean that they are cheap or not good but rather that Sure is a brand directed to medium and high-end audiophiles. The SE115s are in-ear "Sound Isolation" headphones which are designed to be worn "over the ear". They are available in four different colors and are driven by Sure's own "Dynamic MicroSpeaker II"-system.
The cable is modular which means that there is an extension cable included which has to be used in most cases except if you wear the music player on your upper arm or similar. The design of the in-ear plugs makes the headphones most comfortable to wear over the ear (with the cable around your ears). The design is mostly appreciated by the reviewers but some think that the shorter cable is too short which makes it neccessary to keep the extension cable attached at all times. The cushions of the ear-plugs come in five different sizes (included) and are comfortable to wear for many hours.
The audio playback is of high quality although many of the editors report that the sound can many times be too "warm" meaning that there's a lack of detail. This is especially reported when listening to rock and hip-hop music. Lastly, the reviewers think that the sound isolation of the cusion ear-plugs works well.

The Shure SE115 earphones are a sad victim of their market's success. There's no doubt they're a great set of 'phones, but competition is fierce in their price range and there's better value for money to be had elsewhere right now....
