The Sennsheiser PCX 350 headphones are a high-end set of cans. They are a model down from Sennheiser's PXC 450 which has the renowned "TalkThough" feature which makes it possible to talk to people while still having the headphones and music on. This feature is sadly not included in the PXC 350 model but in most other capacities the PXC 350 is much like its more expensive big brother. It has a great noise cancelling feature which is almost up to par the the one on the PXC 450 according to the editorial reviews.
The design is praised for its sturdyness and solidity. An appreciated design feature is the fact that the cans can be turned 90 degrees so that the rather bulky headphones can be stored more easily in a bag or other luggage. The cans encircle the ears in full and help to keep noise out and music in. Only at very high volumes is there a very small leakage of the music to the surroundings. The PCX 350 are powered by two AAA batteries which provides about 40 hours of continous listening.
The audio quality is very high and both bass and tremble sound excellent to all the reviewers. The audio quality is also kept balanced at higher volumes. The noise cancelling feature works great and the editors report that it is almost up to par with the one of the PXC 450s.

TestSeek's Conclusion
The reviews of the Sennheiser PXC 350 headphones are generally very positive although they don't receive the highest marks in any review. They do their job well but most editors still recommend to spend a little more money and buy the PXC 450s instead.
All in all, I like these headphones a lot for their build quality, ergonomic design and sound. Ironically, they appear to sound better in passive mode. In active mode, the low buzz of background noise is definitely abolished, but the inherent noise of ...
These noise-cancelling headphones are so good you'd struggle to hear Brian Blessed doing a Pavarotti impression if he was standing right in front of you. Sennheiser claims up to 85 per cent of ambient noise is killed off by NoiseGard, and when we test...
Unfortunately, the included in-flight adapter didn't fit the sockets on our particular plane (a British Airways Boeing 747), which was a disappointment. You also need a couple of AAA batteries to power the NoiseGard function. Listening to music withou...
Nagging partners, crying babies, insufferable mothers-in-law: all can be blocked out by the Sennheiser PXC 350 noise-cancellors. Just make sure you've got the NoiseGard activated first!Sennheiser PXC-350 is tagged with Sennheiser, NoiseGard, noise-can...
Abstract: Sennheisers active noise-cancelling PXC 350s fit snugly around the ear. This helps reduce background noise, even without the noise-cancelling circuit engaged. Turn it on, however, and the din of air conditioning and engine noise retreats into the d...
Sound quality; noise cancelling; leak-free even at high volume; great build quality; price; lightweight
No TalkThrough feature as seen on PXC 450s; less inspiring sound without batteries
Brilliant set of noise-cancelling cans, complete with sound quality at an audiophile-grade level. Although still functional without batteries, sound quality loses its spark when theyre taken away. A worthy purchase for the price but the superb TalkTh...
High-end headphones that provide noise-cancellation as well are pretty rare, and the Sennheiser PXC 350 takes the cake. With durable and lightweight construction as well as active noise-cancellation which uses advanced technology, these headphones real...
Abstract: Sound quality is crisp, with a deep, tuneful lower end and, despite questionable looks. Sennheiser’s active noise-cancelling PXC 350s fit snugly around the ear. This helps reduce background noise, even without the noise-cancelling circuit engage...
