  • Interesting design (you'll either love it or hate it!), Flattering on middle frequencies, Good range of accessories
  • Output doesn't pack much of a punch, Finish and assembly could be better, Lacks clarity, Very plastic build
  • Monster's Diamond Tears scream out for attention with their unusual design but disappoint on closer inspection. The finish is dubious and the output is calm and inoffensive, but would benefit greatly from a few tweaks here and there....

  • Might be too snug for some heads
  • The Diamond Tears Edge truly sparkles inside and out. The headphones sport a design unlike any other on the market currently and actually don't come off too kitschy despite the fact they are shaped to look like a ‘diamond.'  Lastly, the sound reproduc...

  • The Monster Diamond Tears Edge On-Ear Headphones have a flashy, eye-catching design, seem sturdily built, and offer rich, detailed sound and decent bass that's not overbearing. They come with a carrying case and three headphone cords, two of which feature
  • They're pricey and some people, particularly those with larger ears, may find them uncomfortable to wear over long listening sessions
  • The Monster Diamond Tears Edge On-Ear Headphones may not be a gem of a pair for the price, but for a fashion statement they actually sound good.

  • High-level sound clarity; lightweight; good fit
  • Gaudy design; expensive, $399
  • We don’t expect a mainstream audience will take to these headphones due to their ostentatious design, and, indeed, high price tag. But, if you’re partial to a bit of sparkle, you’ll happily benefit from the top-level audio and thoughtful construction o...

  • Abstract:  Monster’s Diamond Tears Edge packs enough bling factor to have audiophiles ‘sparkling’ as much as those vampires in Stephenie Meyer’s novels, but this flashy headset has more than eye-catching looks going for it though. The Diamond Tears Edge has been...

  • The Monster Diamond Tears are a nice pair of headphones, with a unique design and decent sound. The headband is a considerable design issue, but most people may not mind it at all. However, the Diamond Tears simply doesn't add up to its price tag; the so...
