Abstract: Typically associated with bullet shell casings and concert band instruments, it's nice seeing the use of brass in the making of in-ear headphones. Brass has a quality feel to it and also happens to look wonderfully like gold! Being a hybrid of copper an...
While the Master & Dynamic ME05 are one of the more expensive in-ear headphones we've tested, coming in at $200 (£180, about AU$295), they are well worth their high-end price tag. While their styling may not be for everyone, they're subtle enough to be dr...
Abstract: But brass the M&D ME-05s are – and bold to boot. They are quite lively acoustically, but not in a hyper-resonant, bell-like way. And while I normally prefer something more sonically neutral, I found these in-ears, with their custom-tuned 8mm titanium-coat...
They are extremely comfortable over long periods of listening, plus the ME05s have ear tips that fit me! The audio feels and sounds just right—not to bassy or bright

Great sound, mellow with excellent bass and superb isolation. All kinds of music sound wonderful—even podcasts. Driver housings are machined from solid brass. Luxe looks. Weight of the brass isn't really an issue
Well OK, weight might be an issue for some people. At $200, price is a little high—excellentsounding inears can be had for $50 less
