  • Abstract:  The D2V provides two backlit remotes, that can be programmed to control other component and that provide a “learning” function. The unit is fairly easy to master, though it does—as a matter of practical necessity—provide a number of context-sensitive buttons..

  • Anthem's sound, which has made this the goto processor for many, now is even better, thanks to the new ARC Anthem Room Correction system, The Anthem D2 offers plenty of HDMI inputs for even the most sourcecrazy home theater enthusiast, and Anthem's HDMI switcher is one of the most reliable in the business, The exceptionally flexible and versatile video scaler in the D2 can scale to 1080p/24 o

Given Anthem's history, I suspect they will offer it to prior owners at a reasonable cost,
  • The Anthem D2 is unquestionably one of the best AV preamps made and the addition of the ARC is a huge step towards making a great product even better. You will still miss out on all the new audio codecs but, given Anthem's reputation for keeping up wit...

  • Sonically, the D2 is an absolute delight, both for music and movies. The controller’s overall sound is exceedingly transparent and revealing, edging out the already excellent Sunfire TGP-5 in both respects. Listening to the D2 is much like listening...

  • Abstract:  I knew I had to try this system out when I heard what it could do for a hotel room at CES earlier this year, but I wasn’t prepared for what it did for my room. The wider soundstage improved detail, bass control and accuracy, as well as improving front-...

  • Since I purchased my Anthem AVM 20, nothing has entered the house that has given me any reason to consider replacing it -- until now. As an A/V control center, the Anthem Statement D2 improves on the AVM 20 in nearly every respect, and then adds an ab...

  • Abstract:  Anthem, known for value-priced audiophile-grade electronics, quickly established itself in the high roller market with their D1 AV preamp. With surprisingly good sound, at a price lower than you might expect from the big boys, Anthem quickly became the...

  • Abstract:  Close to the edge. Im constantly amazed by the steadily improving sound of real-world-priced components, but its fun to see how far mind-bogglingly fantastic high-end electronics have come. Yes, I have to admit that theres a certain amount of pose...

  • Abstract:  Anthem took an unquestioned winner in the Anthem Statement D1 and raised the bar with the addition of a dazzling video processor, better audio and killer connectivity in the new D2. Focusing on using quality components for achieving mind-blowing sound ...

  • Abstract:  The Anthem Statement D2 represents a completely new approach to home theater processors, including first rate video processing as well as the standard audio processing. Normally, performance like this is reserved for flagship standalone video processors..
