  • The In Win Commander 1200W unit is a very well balanced product with good features and overall performance. It offers excellent electrical performance while remaining quiet under typical loads. Modders will enjoy its different appearance and modular de...
  • Even though it should be almost impossible to improve without sacrificing any of the acoustics performance of the product, we would certainly like to see the thermal performance improved. Unfortunately the tight layout of the CWT design wont allow the...

  • Well once again, InWin has impressed. Not only have their made a PSU with incredibly tight and stable rails, but its almost as efficient as the 750w model. While both units might have powered our test setup, if you fancied adding another 4870 x2 into...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Commander line of power supplies are currently available in capacities ranging from 650 to 1500 watts. The +3.3V & +5V rails are both 30A each. There are four +12V rails; 12V1&2 are 20A each and 12V3&4 are 36A each, with a combined power of 99A. The efficiency of the In Win Commander 1200W Power Supply varies from 80-84% depending on load. It also meets the 80+ & NVIDIA SLI certifications, has a quiet 140mm fan and is modular. This is one of the best power supplies on the market! Watch the video to find out more...

  • The In Win Commander 1200w is certainly one of the most interesting units we have had the privilege to test. It is a somewhat unique design, comprised basically of two individual 600w PSUs on the same PCB. It does what a PSU should do- it provides cl...

  • very efficient, quiet at all loads I was able to test at, excellent 12V stability, good ripple suppression, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet paint job,
  • 3.3V regulation falls apart under heavy loads due to, loose ATX connector pins,
  • The Inwin Commander 1200W arrived fresh off the UPS truck looking to make its mark, and for the most part it did. The unit is big, bad, and will power anything you ask it to without breaking much of a sweat. Unfortunately, like many big CWT designs I'v...

  • Modular, Extremely quiet, Unique color scheme, Plenty of cabling options included, nice bundle, Nice long cables
  • 1200W is still not cheap, Unique color scheme
  • Well, after all that testing, I am impressed. Its not every day that you test a power supply that will put up numbers like that. I simply cannot get over the miniscule amount of ripple we experienced with this PSU. Its well within that 3% that we re...

  • Performance, Looks, Modular, 80Plus Certified, 3 Year Warranty, Vast Number Of Connections, 1200 Watts Of Power
  • Loud At Load
  • The IN WIN Commander 1200W is amongst the first power supplies that feature 3V3, 5V0 and 12V1 sensing wires in the 24 pin motherboard connector cable and so this provides marginally more stable and more accurate voltages. Also the fact...
