Abstract: The 800W version of the Odin GT comes with the same software management application as the 550W PSU (opposite), which allows you to monitor the temperature of four probes and adjust the output of all the rails. We wouldnt recommend trying the latte...
As an 800W PSU, the Odin GT does a remarkably good job, being quiet, efficient and completely stable. However, Gigabyte has weighed down an otherwise good product with gimmicky extras that add to the cost for very little gain. ...
Gigabytes entry to the power supply market is very promising and we have no doubt that the support for four PCI Express connections will appeal to the overclocking fraternity. Perhaps the animated software and flashing blue LEDs will also generate so...
If your looking to buy a PSU that will power all of your equipment, the Gigabyte ODIN GT 800W Power Supply will take just about anything you can throw at it. With 80%+ efficiency, you dont have to worry about this power supply sucking unneeded power f...
Abstract: Video Review: The Gigabyte Odin GT 800W Power Supply is unlike any other power supply on the market. This power supply comes with a USB connection which gets connected into any PC computer's USB port. The software that's included enables total control over the PSU at the click of a button. It displays current wattage usage for total wattage and peak wattage. It shows voltage and current information for all rails. It even gives the PSU fan and system fan speeds, along with PSU and system temperature information. There are a number of present modes for fan speed or you can choose a manual mode. There is also a voltage configuration area so the +12V, +5V and +3.3V rails can be decreased or increased depending on the application. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

Not very quiet, Can be controlled only with GIGABYTE proprietary software
GIGABYTE has once again proven that they can create innovative products with unique features. The GIGABYTE Odin GT Series products are the only PSUs on the market today that offer software control over many features and monitoring. Even version 0.2 Bet...
I was pleasantly surprised with Gigabytes Odin GT 800 Watt PSU. In fact this seems to be one of the better PSUs we have tested to date. Now we cant objectively load test at 800 watts so the question remains: Can it really cope with that? We believe...
Gigabyte’s first 800w power supply is by no means cheap and it is in no way just another typical high-end power supply. Priced at around $220 US, the Gigabyte Odin GT 800w is one of the most expensive power supplies in its class and many 850 watt un...
Gigabyte has made a clear statement with the Odin series and we hope that there will be more in the future. The idea of providing software to control and monitor the power supply is very good and the results are generally worthwhile. The software itsel...
