Thin, sleek design; excellent display; fast bootup times; unique touchpad user interface.
Innovative Switchblade UI LED hard to customize; underpowered graphics for its price.
Razer's first laptop, the Razer Blade, is a thin gaming computer with some futuristic design touches, but a high price means you're paying for design--and for the second-screen signature Switchblade UI interface that doesn't do as much as we hoped it ...
RGB Chroma lighting, Excellent build quality, Speakers sound decent, Thin portable Chassis, Good cooling, Great performance, Reasonably Quiet fans, Very fast storage, Easy to open and upgrade
Lacking a Numpad, 240hz/G-Sync panel would have been welcomed at this price point, Webcam could be better, Matt surface attracts fingerprints (looks great though!), The Razer Blade Pro 17 that we reviewed can be found at Overclockers UK HERE for £2,679.95
The Razer Blade 17 Pro is a very expensive laptop and there's no denying that. The £2680 price tag will alienate a lot of people but if you have this kind of money to spend on a laptop and you want the best then I think the Razer blade Pro 17 is a good op...

Great gaming performance, Excellent design and build, Quality screen
Keyboard buttons on the thin side, Super high price tag, Weak battery life
A truly excellent gaming laptop that will handle anything that's thrown at it, backed up by serious but complementary specs and a tremendous screen. You'll have to pay handsomely for the privilege though...
The Razer Blade Pro 17 is a phenomenal laptop in terms of design, boasting the same sleek angular look as not only the rest of the Blade collection, but the Razer Phone too. The 17.3in display isn't the brightest we've ever seen, but the 144Hz refresh rat...
Slim design, Fantastic performance, Trackpad back where it belongs, Sort of upgradable
Very expensive, No Core i9 version, Short battery life
As with previous versions of the Razer Blade Pro 17, this year's model has a lot to love about it, but there's also certain aspects that will put people off.First, the positives: it comes with a stylish design that's thin and light (for a gaming laptop)...
Extremely expensive, Lacking previous generation's gimmicks, Battery life is short
(Image credit: Razer)The 2019 take of Blade Pro is just brilliant. It's brilliantly designed, it's brilliantly beefy while remaining slim and light enough, it's brilliantly bright and colourful, and we have no hesitation in awarding it a full five stars...
excellent build quality, portable for a 17incher, great 144Hz screen, the best trackpad for a Windows laptop, good IO, solid performance in a small package, easily serviceable, 2x RAM and 2x M.2 slots, useful software bundle, Windows Hello cam
subpar battery life, gets hots and loud under load, even in this RTX 2060 variant, no 4K screen options, steep entry price
With the updated Blade Pro 17, you're looking at a 17” gaming experience crammed into a traditional 15” laptop form factor. The screen, keyboard and trackpad are all great, the laptop itself is well built and actually pretty portable considering the scree...

The IPS screen is excellent, Aluminium chassis looks superb and feels amazing, GTX 1060 graphics drive games along, Keyboard illumination works very well, Glass touch pad is good
The hinge cover is plastic, Keyboard illumination doesn't show the secondary functions, RAM chips are soldered on motherboard so memory cannot be upgraded, Mouse buttons are rather small
The Razer Blade continues to be superb. While we found the Razer Core graphics housing to be interesting and to work superbly well, it ultimately proved irrelevant. Yes, you can add a better graphics chip to the Razer Blade but the benefit you gain is mar...

The physical design of the Blade easily stands out as its most valuable asset. The premium chassis really looks and feels the part and this can go a really long way in this market. The sub-2kg weight and sub-20mm thickness also make it very portable consi...
Razer's Blade is a heck of an expensive gaming device. But it's a damn good notebook that deserves it all. Well, minus the heat and the battery life problems. If you don't mind this detail, we say: go for it. We don't know of any other gaming laptop to b...
