  • Tweaker friendly BIOS, Overclocked well, EPU and other green features can save you some green, Competitively priced
  • Poorly positioned features such as the 20+4 pin connection, EPU control in AI Gear3 is a bit buggy
  • ASUS emphasizes the green features found on the P5K PRO in order to set it apart from the rather crowded Intel P35 based motherboard market. While the energy saving design is interesting and useful, what may be lost on some users is that your system wo...

  • Fullfeatured, Asus cut few corners with this economy motherboard, 3 year warranty, Priced right
  • Some may find the six internal SATA ports and the lack of eSATA restrictive, Board not that conducive to cable management due to positions of some connectors, If overclocking problems are not due to 0904 BIOS, board is barely overclockable
  • I really didnt know what to expect from an Asus economy motherboard. When you think economy board, you think a motherboard sharing little or nothing with more expensive offerings. In the Asus P5K Pro, I found a full-featured board that cut few corner...

  • While the P5K Pro good value on the grand scale of motherboards, with regards to the community it exists in, it sits pretty much even with what else is on offer. We tested the and the last year, but there have been PCB and BIOS revisions for both pr...

  • No rounded IDE cables
  • This is a very nice DDR2 board, it has performed very stable for us and it also overclocks very well even under heavy loads and temperatures which has suprised me. I believe Asus has done it again, even though this is not the latest board with DDR3 etc...

  • Abstract:  L’Asus P5K Pro a certains défauts liés à sa petite taille, notamment des connecteurs peu accessibles. Mais cette critique n’est valable qu’au montage ou le temps de « régler » sa configuration. C’est surtout la fréquence finale atteinte en overclocking qui nous a déçus face à l’EP35-DS3P.
