Preformatted for Macs out of the box. Works with Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows XP. Mac-complimentary styling. Fast triple interface, including FireWire 800. Includes Retrospect Express software.
Preformatted for Macs (inconvenient for PCs). Changing RAID settings involves unlabeled DIP switches. Drives not user-serviceable. Could use eSATA for the fastest transfer times.
