  • You know a chassis is in trouble if you have to speculatively cut back the storage capacity by nearly half in the hope of being able to use current-day hardware - its a bad strategy on so many different levels. Okay, there are things you could do to i...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Thermaltake Soprano DX Case is loaded with excellent features. This mid-tower case comes in two colors; black and silver and is available with or without a window. It is mostly steel, except for a few plastic parts and an aluminum front. The styling is quite elegant and it comes with a high gloss paint finish. There are plenty of drive bays, has excellent air circulation, a tool-free design, and much more. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

  • Striking, Simple, Sturdy
  • A little cramped for an ATX case, Uninventive, Not long enough for an 8800GTX and the hard drives at the same time, despite whats written on the box.
  • If you like this case, you have to decide if the pure good looks are enough. Because otherwise theres nothing. Nothing really bad, nothing super-great...gloss and black and curves are from what some cases are made.I cant shake the feeling that this i...

  • Summing it up, Thermaltake’s restyling is definitely a success. The system case is worth every cent of its price and offers opportunities for users who like to finish their PC off with their own hands – the grids on both fans seem to be redund...

  • Lightweight, sturdy, looks good, No tools needed to install optical/floppy drives and expansion cards, Removable hard drive cage, Quiet fans and adequate cooling
  • Needs a little more exhaust or even a smaller intake for airflow balance, No where to route extra cabling, Cramped and difficult to work inside without removing HDD cage
  • Even though theres nothing really cutting edge about it, Thermaltake has a good thing going with the Soprano Dx. The lightweight but sturdy aluminum construction along with two locks makes it practical for transporting a system to a LAN. It has a st...

  • Great Style, Removable hard drive cage, Aluminum front bezel, LED fan and lights on front bezel, HUGE side window, Easy external drive installation
  • Had to remove top connection in order to install the power supply, Could only use 3 out of the 5 hard drive spots because of video card
  • Well Thermaltake has made a great product even better with the Soprano DX case. The original Soprano was a good case, but had some faults. The Soprano DX addresses these issues and also adds some cool features that really give the DX its own style. So...

  • Abstract:  Its a common belief among inexperienced PC users that there isnt a difference between two computer cases. The belief, though, is absolutely wrong. Sure, all cases have the same fundamental function, which is to hold the various hardware components t...

  • Abstract:  Deciding on the right case to buy is a very personal decision. How big should it be? What cooling system do I want to use? What features do I need? What color should I get? These aren’t questions anyone can answer for you. However, we can try to gui...
