Unique design, Great air cooling, Great support for larger graphics card, motherboards and power supplies
One of the most expensive chassis on the market, Could offer more storage options given overall size of chassis, Cable management could be improved (although excusable given age of design), eTeknix says:
“If you love the design of this chassis then I don't think any award is going to change your mind one way or the other, you either love it or you hate it and for those that want something different and a little crazy then there really isn't much out ther...
Overall the Raven is a great quality chassis. Its highly innovative design is a breath of fresh air in one of the more static segments of the PC industry, and although the aesthetics will certainly invoke polarized opinions, the build quality is beyon...
The Raven is an interesting product and throughout testing we have had a number of mixed thoughts about the chassis. First and foremost, this is a design concept we have never seen from SilverStone before. Gone are the understated, slick looking desig...
Abstract: strong>The basic concept of the Raven seems to be sound - to suck in cool air through the bottom of the case and expel hot air from the top. However, the case design is confused. The rear of the case should tidy DVI and speaker cables, and building a...

The SilverStone Raven RV01 has stood the test of time so well so rather than end-of-line the chassis SilverStone updated it a bit and left the popular chassis on the market. Some products like the Raven are just timeless in their style and will always dra...
Abstract: Video Review: The SilverStone Raven RV01 Case is available in a black color with or without a window. It has a reinforced plastic outer shell & an .8mm steel body. It has a number of very unique features, one of them being that the motherboard tray is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. So instead of having the motherboard's I/O shield plate and expansion slots at the back of the case they are at the top. This frees up the back of the case for things such as a large radiator. This case also has lots of drive bays, great air circulation, radical styling and so much more. Watch the video to find out more...
SilverStone says they are targeting this case for the Extreme Enthusiast and it has a plethora of features and innovation for just that crowd. The price tag online is $249.99 as of this writing, making it not for the faint of heart when it comes to tho...
Abstract: What is it about the common raven that instills fear in the hearts of men? Is it the Bowie knife shape of its beak, or maybe the profound intelligence behind their beady eyes? Whatever it is about the raven that makes us fear these birds, one thing i...

Very large, Only one SATA backplane provided
The Silverstone Raven is one of the more interesting cases weve come across. We can see a lot of advantages to rotating the motherboard tray. Doing so brings the power connectors closer to bottom-mounted power supplies, and helps airflow out of the c...
