Not the cheapest WiFi camera around, “D-Link’s DCS-2630L is the best WiFi camera I’ve seen. It provides clear Full-HD videos at day and night with the ability to store them directly to an SD card or upload them to a remote location.”, D-Link DCS-2630L Ful
The D-Link DCS-2630L is both a compact and good looking Wi-Fi camera that is as easy to place as it has mounting and adjustment options. It stands firmly on its stand at all angles and can also be mounted directly onto a wall. You can turn the camera itse...
The camera is easy to set up, works great through cell phones, and the 180-degree view shows the entire room. For indoor surveillance, you can't get much better than the D-Link DCS-2630L at this price point.Pages12next ›last »Tags: D-LinkIP Surveillance C...
Very good video quality, Intuitive software, Good control over motion detection, Effective sound-detection sensitivity
No sharing options, Not all web browsers fully supported, No cloud storage, Limited scheduling
The price of the D-Link DCS-2630L ($159) is in the medium range, but because it doesn't offer cloud storage, you don't have to pay anything extra per month. So if you don't care about saving your videos to the cloud, this might be a good option. The D-Link...

Sharp HD video, Wide field of view, MicroSD card slot for local video storage, Motion and audio detection
Bulky, Does not work with other home automation devices, No email alerts
The D-Link Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera DCS-2630L offers an ultra-wide field of vision, motion and sound detection, and detailed HD video, but it's relatively bulky and it doesn't interact with other smart home devices...
The $180 D-Link DCS-2630L offers a 180-degree distortion-free live stream along with local cloud storage (up to 128GB, microSD card not included), one of the first DIY models with these combined options
Setting up a connected D-Link product is notoriously complicated (according to our experiences, at least) and the DCS-2630L is no exception. The camera is huge -- literally. It's way bigger than Nest Cam and other competitors
If you are specifically looking for a wide-angle DIY indoor camera with local storage, the D-Link DCS-2630L will work well. Just don't expect stellar design or a headache-free setup process...
Well built, Excellent video quality, 180 degree view with little distortion, Strong feature set, Records to and streams from a microSD card, No subscription service needed to view recorded events
The D-Link DCS-2630L retails for about $180 (Amazon) at the time of this review. For this price, it is so close to other cameras that it makes no sense if you're building a security solution to not include this camera. It excels in large rooms and will ca...

Wide Field of View, Records video without subscription, Built in PIR sensor, High quality 1080P image, Mydlink app is intuitive and simple to use, Quick and easy setup
Expensive, Only local recording to the camera, Web interface is quirky
The Full HD Ultra-Wide View Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-2630L) is an impressive home security camera. Packed with features such as ultra wide field of view, passive infrared sensor and local video recording it offers more than its closest competitors at this point...
High quality images, Easy set-up and installation, Packed with features, Fit and finish are perfect, Streaming is nearly flawless, On device SD Storage
Slow loading, SD setup and playback is not straight-forward, Full browser support is limited
As nice as the camera was I did find a few aspects of using D-Link's software to be a bit annoying. The most obvious thing is the speed. Most every aspect of accessing the device has a loading delay. Log into mydlink.com wait 20 seconds for an image to ap...
