  • Pro-quality results from an almost pocket camera; bright and sharp AMOLED screen; reasonably priced; fast and responsive
  • No integral flash; plasticky build; iFn button and scroll wheel overly sensitive, making for occasionally fiddly operation

  • Good picture quality up to 800 ISO, iFn button on lens for adjusting settings, Overall responsiveness, Nice, sharp AMOLED screen
  • No builtin flash, No stabilisation system in kit lens, iFn button made a little redundant by the buttons on the back, Outdated design
  • The NX100 isn't a bad camera but it's not compact enough, it isn't very original and it has no flash or stabilisation system (with the 20-30 mm kit lens, at least). There are better compacts with interchangeable lenses out there....

  • Impressively sharp AMOLED screen; large buttons and intuitive controls; relatively lightweight; fast and responsive
  • No built-in flash or viewfinder; overly sensitive scroll wheel; plasticky body
  • The Samsung NX100 offers the straightforward operation of a compact camera while adding a larger, dSLR-size sensor, and the ability to swap lenses. The end result is largely a success....
