  • If that sounds familiar then the Slimming mode included in HP's latest compact may appeal.Be warned, though, it's a torturous process of menu hopping to apply that fat button and you'll probably need a snack when you're finished. Yes, it can shave a ki...

  • Easy-to-use menus and in-camera red-eye reduction are definite plus points for the 10Mp HP Photosmart R967, but that battery life is a real let-down. Eric Butterfield Lowest online price: £N/A ...

  • Abstract:  The HP Photosmart R967 camera comes with all sorts of in-camera editing jiggery pokery, including a rather magical slimming functionette. You can see the evidence for yourself here, thanks to the lovely (and already size single figures) Abi from Hippys...

  • Great value for money
  • Poor performance
  • Have you ever looked at a photo of yourself and wondered who the fat old person staring back at you was? If that sounds familiar then the Slimming mode included in HPs latest compact may appeal. Be warned, though, its a torturous process of menu hopp...

  • Very easy to use, camera fits in a pocket, several built-in software features, high resolution, large and sharp LCD
  • Starting price could be lower, image quality could be better, response times are below average, battery performance is below average, no optical viewfinder
  • The Photosmart R967 from Hewlett-Packard is a point-and-shoot model with very few manual-control options, and its aimed at beginning photographers. Some beginners might find the nearly $300 price tag on this model to be a bit high.To justify the pric...

  • Chock-full o features. Impressive digital zoom - for once. Nice LCD. Good image quality.
  • Antishake doesnt work well. Many features are found on the cheaper R927.
  • While the R967 improves on the R927, the changes arent groundbreaking. Its hard to recommend the R967 over the R927 when the R927 is still such a capable (and now cheaper) camera. When it comes down to it, if you need the extra megapixels and more s...

  • Abstract:  The HP Photosmart R967 is simplicity itself. It is self-descriptive with a built-in system and numerous helpful features. Its image quality is good, except for above average noise at all ISO sensitivities. Since it is equipped with a 10 megapixels sen...

  • Good image quality at the lowest compression, Good quality optics, Accurate metering, Full range of capture modes, 3inch monitor, Wellbuilt
  • Shutter lag, Sensitive to noise, Slow to operate, Battery needs recharging quickly, No directly useable AV out on camera
  • The Photosmart R967 is currently at the top end of Hewlett-Packards digital cameras: it offers a 10-megapixel resolution, a 3X optical zoom and is equipped with a 3-inch LCD monitor. The body of the HP Photosmart R967 is entirely metal clad, with a b...
