TestSeek's Expert Reviews Summary
Staff at TestSeek has read all the expert reviews (so you don't have to) for this product and written a summary of what the editors think about the product.
The high definition HDR-SR11 Handycam manufactured by Sony is a tape less camcorder that works with mac platform, and is one among the very few devices capable of it. The model is widely acclaimed for the excellence in video recording.
This device is well designed, easy to handle and is richly loaded with features. A 60 GB hard drive enables the storage functions. The videos recorded are excellent in terms of quality. It seems bulky but at the same time it will rest perfectly in the palm.
The LCD screen has a control panel that is quite sensitive to touch. The keys are arranged in a manner that makes it easy even for a first time user to handle it easily.
The reviewers found that most of the features as striking and easy for people of all ages to operate. The video quality really astonished them. The quality of video is rated as very good by most of the experts. The light setting whether low or standard is not a matter for this super gadget. The microphone present within the camcorder is good enough in capturing even minute sounds. The battery life is praiseworthy. A single full charge is sufficient to record video for continuous 2 hours. The only thing which the editors didn’t like was the slow data transfer rate. They commended that in a high end device like this, a short come like this shouldn’t have been there.

TestSeek's Conclusion
Prized at $734.99 this camcorder offers excellent videography. Except for the poor speed of data transfer and still images, this device is one among the best in its category.
Good quality images in good light conditions, Electronic noise well handled, Choice between HD and SD video, Adjustable viewfinder and good 3, Hard drive and memory card available
Wide angle is too narrow, No builtin LED mp, Too blurry in low light, Autofocus could be quicker
The HDR-SR11 is an easy choice for those wishing to jump on the tapeless bandwagon. With this device, Sony has all the bases covered: the camcorder is Mac-friendly, sports impressive video quality, and is elegantly designed. Brian Chen Lowest online p...
