  • Easy-to-use menus. Good zoom range. Quite inexpensive.
  • Mediocre video quality. Some manual controls were difficult to use. Colors should be more accurate.
  • The Panasonic VDR-M53 miniDVD camcorder is the most inexpensive DVD camcorder weve seen—and performs like it. Still, the price is right if you can live with less-than-perfect video quality....
