  • Good value. Excellent detail with HD video sources. Large screen size.
  • Inefficient default settings. Picture not as detailed as on some 120- or 240-Hz LCDs.
  • If you want the best value for one of the largest 1080p LCD screens currently available, the Sharp LC-65D64U is the set to beat....

  • The LC46D64U produces a wonderfully detailed 1080p image, and colors look natural, Its great light output makes it well suited for a brighter viewing environment, The Slimline form successfully draws your eyes to the screen and helps you fit a larger screen in a smaller space,
  • The LC46D64U's color temperature is somewhat uneven, and the TV can't be calibrated, The black level is good but not exceptional, so the image doesn't look quite as rich in a dark room, The viewing angle is average, and the screen suffers from uniformity issues.
  • The LC-46D64U is a solid everyday performer that is especially well suited for a brighter, daytime viewing environment. High-definition images look great, and the TV has a well-rounded connection panel....

  • The Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U is a television that makes a lot of concessions in order to achieve its reasonable price, and in our opinion makes too many. In particular it struggles producing an array of greys and accurate colors. Motion was also jerky a...

  • With its great picture quality, the AQUOS LC-37D64U would be a welcome addition to a family room or my bedroom. But at 37" and with non-stellar audio, I would ban it from the home theater. Digg del.icio.us Reddit Google Post a comment...

  • Abstract:  I have indeed been spoiled lately – not only because I’ve reviewed big-screen flat panels, but because I’ve reviewed several higher-end LCDs that have redefined performance expectations for LCDs. The LC-37D64U isn’t quite at that level, performing mor...

  • Slim design and glossy black bezel really class up the joint. Plenty of inputs, including three HDMI 1.3, and the switchin is fast and easy. Novicefriendly menus. Backlit remote doesnt overwhelm with buttons.
  • Pushes some colors way too hard. Standarddef images look craptacular, while other sources show tons of noise. Remote is unnecessarily ginormous. Sunken, vertically oriented rear analog inputs virtually impossible to reach.Screen Size: 46 inches

  • Abstract:  If LCD TVs are the hot item these days, so-called "thin-bezel" LCDs must be on fire. Several manufacturers are out this season touting new super-thin frames around their screens for a kind of floating-in-space effect. Why we should care is beyond me; ...

  • Abstract:  Sharp has been in the LCD flat panel television game as long as anyone. Its huge and ongoing investments in R&D and manufacturing facilities have paid off with a strong worldwide sales position and an enviable reputation. If someone mentions LCD telev...
