This clock radio couldn't look more retro if it grew gills and wriggled back into the sea. The only thing that's not retro is its ability to access Internet. With both Wi-Fi and Ethernet options, hooking up to our home network took us mere minutes...
Firstly, where's the DAB radio? And for some reason the Tangent didn't include a remote control, so volume adjustment and the like has to be performed the old-fashioned way. And that, in our books, is almost as annoying as Joe Pasquale.
One for fans of hi-tech retro kit, the Quattro is supremely stylish and kicks out top audio quality. Shame that Tangent forgot about the DAB and remote control.Tangent Quattro is tagged with Tangent, DAB radio, Wi-Fi and retro. Select a tag (Tangent, f...
Abstract: We liked the looks and solid build of the Quattro, and it does put a massive range of content at your fingertips. Unfortunately, issues with usability and in some cases sound quality undermine an otherwise capable device and theres not quite enough e...
Price; great format support; design; fairly easy to use
No support for protected content; no FLAC streaming; no SD card slot

Huge range of stations, Podcast support, Neat design

The Tangent Quattro Internet radio receiver has a fun, retro design, above-average sound quality, an external audio input, alarm clock, and the ability to wirelessly stream music from your PC.
The Tangent Quattro can only be used if you have a high-speed wireless Internet connection. While an ugly power adapter is included, a remote control, SD card slot, DRM support, and tone adjustment are not.
The Tangent Quattro is a fun gadget with great sound, but its premium price tag will scare off all but the most serious radio enthusiasts.
Abstract: I first saw them from a distance while attending a trade show presentation of some new stereo loudspeakers and I couldn't take my eyes off them. I'm referring to the Tangent series of tabletop radios. Their small size, cool styling and attractive color...
