  • Included game is worth the cost of the Zapper on its own; neat wind up cord
  • Doesnt look much like a gun; difficult to use when moving around
  • The Zapper is a fun accessory to add to your Nintendo Wii and with a few Zapper-compatible games in the pipeline, its worth investing in ...

  • In the end, the Wii Zapper is cheap, works well, and looks great. The problem is that it’s unnecessary. With no added function and only a negligible improvement in a few genres of games, it doesn’t really do anything that makes it a must buy...

  • Abstract:  Yes I proclaim that the Wii Zapper sucks. Why, one might ask? Well, I bought one hoping that somehow it would be like the old NES Zapper that came with the old gaming console (bundled together with Super Mario and Duck Hunt), or just slightly like t...

  • Fairly lightweight; improves aiming stability slightly; includes Links Crossbow Training and still only $20.
  • Dual-handles slippery and uncomfortable; Nunchuck doesnt stay in place; kinda wimpy looking.
  • As a peripheral its a flop, but with a fun pack-in game and a total cost of only $20, its worth a purchase.

  • Inexpensive Wii accessory that brings new life to shooting games; includes Links Crossbow Training.
  • Doesnt come with Wiimote or Nunchuk; first round of supporting games arent blockbusters.
  • While it isnt revolutionary, the Wii Zapper is a great Wii accessory--and for the price, you really are getting an excellent value.

  • Abstract:  Is this piece of plastic worth it? The Wii Zapper concept has been around since E3 2006, where a prototype was shown in a display case. This first example differed drastically than the version that is being made available to the public. It did not inv...

  • Abstract:  Way back at E3 2006, months before the Wii launched that fall, Nintendo showed off a pretty cool looking prototype of a possible design for a Wii Zapper. The pistol-like design looked sexy and highly reminiscent of the original Zapper for the NES. Some...

  • Abstract:  Max EveringhamThe Wii Zapper is a new accessory for the Nintendo Wii and is basically a cradle that turns your controller into something more resembling a gun. Youve got to love Nintendo for sticking religiously to their game consoles are toys ma...

  • Abstract:  For those who grew up in the 1980s you might remember the original Nintendo Entertainment System accessory known as the Zapper. It was a gray or bright orange light-gun that let you shoot at ducks, bulls-eyes, and banditos with pin-point precision wh...
