  • There are lots of incremental updates, but we wish these programs could be purchased separately. iPhoto is useful to pretty much everyone, but none of the others really justify the cost of an upgrade if you have iLife '09 already.Tags: Apple iLife , iP...

  • Abstract:  The 2011 update of Apple’s iLife digital lifestyle suite gives us new versions of three of its five applications. Photo organiser and editor iPhoto, easy-to-use video editor iMovie and music creation program GarageBand get some great new features, b...

  • With a low upgrade price and a slew of new features, iLife represents very good value for money, especially for users of GarageBand and iMovie which both benefit from some substantial new features. The full screen interface favoured by iPhoto won't be ...

  • The changes in iLife '11 are far from ground-breaking enough that you need to upgrade from iLife '09, if you have that on your Mac. That isn't to say, however, that iLife '11 isn't a decent product. The upgrades are minor, but they're minor upgrades to wh...

  • Easy to use, some great features, lets you quickly manage your photos, video and music creation
  • Not that many new features over the current offering, full screen mode only comes to iPhoto
  • iLife 11 sees a handful of incremental rather than revolutionary updates and new features that will tease you into upgrading rather than making it a must...

  • Slick design. Mostly easy to use. Good sharing capabilities. Very Cheap (or free, with new Macs).
  • Online component, MobileMe, is costly. Mac only.
  • Macs may not be cheap, but Apple's slick personal media suite is, especially considering how much is included. Buy it now...

  • Abstract:  Any business or other organization of size will over time build up a substantial library of media depicting and supporting its activities. Sometimes that media is just a historical record of activities and events. These used to be kept in dusty file ca...

  • Faster photo editing, New photo-sharing features, Waveform audio editing returns to iMovie, GarageBand gains simple fix/edit features, as well as new piano and guitar lessons
  • IPhoto's multiple views are confusing and unnecessary, New slide shows detract from the photos being shown, IMovie's Movie Trailer feature is gimmicky, IWeb and iDVD need updating
  • The iLife ’11 suite keeps what we love about the suite and adds some worthy upgrades. It's hard to go wrong for the $49 price, even if some of the new features are gimmicky. ...
