  • Very easy to use, plenty of options
  • only offers the basics
  • If you have a digital camera, camcorder or fancy making your own podcast then this package certainly ticks all the boxes

  • Abstract:  Apple Computers iLife application suite is easy enough to figure out that you dont really need a manual to get started. Once you get beyond the basics, however, a little help goes a long way in making you an iLife pro, and The Macintosh iLife 06 b...

  • iLife 06 improves performance and integration between applications. GarageBand 3 has podcast studio capabilities, and iWeb lets you create Web pages easily.
  • Some applications, especially GarageBand, are RAM hungry or require a .Mac membership to realize their full potential. iWeb is not yet mature. Also, service and support for iLife has waned since last years version.
  • If you dont already have iLife and you deal with digital media, you should get iLife 06. If you have an older version, think carefully about whether the new features are worth the price.

  • Abstract:  So, just when you got used to your new Mac and iLife ‘05, here come the boys from Cupertino with iLife ‘06. You wonder if it’s worth the US$80 price to get the new version (no upgrade pricing, but then, at $80 for four top-of-the-line co...

  • Abstract:  For the same AU$119 as last years product, Apple has strengthened the Web focus of its iLife 06 creativity suite, with new multimedia-sharing features just shy of full-fledged social networking, podcast-creation capabilities for GarageBand 2 and bra...
