  • Attractive, compact design; excellent, laser-like text output; supports AirPlay
  • Fairly average photo quality
  • The Envy 100 is a very good general-purpose printer, but was somewhat lacking in its overall performance. Photo enthusiasts may also prefer to look at some of its more specialised rivals if you know that you need to print high-quality photos on a regular...

  • Large touchscreen control with gesture recognition, Remote printing via ePrint, Very stylish looks
  • Hard to open, low-capacity paper tray, No PictBridge support, No separate photo feed
  • With a printer like this, you never expect cutting-edge performance. The Envy 100 isn't a quick machine. HP claims 6ppm for black and 4ppm for colour and we measured 6.1ppm for black and 2.7ppm for colour. When the machine prints, it lifts its control pan...

  • Very stylish; enables remote printing via HP online ePrint,
  • Some output problems; higher than average running costs.
  • HP has to be applauded for extending the reach of printing outside the office with the Envy 100 e-All-in-One - and also for making it so slim and stylish. But there are clearly some technical blips to sort out, and with only average speed and relativel...

  • WiFi, doublesided printing and Internet connection, Slim, stylish form factor, Low running costs with XL cartridges: just 8.5 p, Fast scanner with reasonable quality, Quiet
  • Small paper tray (just 80 pages) and no fax, Slow at printing both documents and photos, Just one colour cartridge, High energy consumption, Expensive
  • The HP Photosmart Envy 100 could be a great impulse buy for anybody impressed by the fact that this is a printer that doesn't actually look much like a printer. Sleek, quiet and stylish, it will look great in anybody's home office. With plenty of conne...

  • The HP Envy100 e-All-in-One looks better than it works, but the fashion-forward users who are likely to consider this model probably have similar priorities. You can find other cool-looking models whose inks aren't quite so pricey, however. Melissa Ri...

  • Great build quality. Cool touchscreen interface with tons of downloadable apps. Native AirPrint compatibility.
  • Poor photo print quality. Flimsy input paper tray. Output tray is motorized and may not stand the test of time.

  • Snazzy looks. Abundant all-in-one features. HP Web apps and ePrint. Automatic duplexer.
  • Slow at document printing. Slightly sub-par photos.
  • The HP Envy 100 e-All-in-One is an MFP that adds a touch of elegance to the home. Buy it now...
