  • Cherry MX Black Switches, Robust Keyset, Precise key strokes, USB & Audio Hub, Braided cable, Large wrist rest, Excellent packaging
  • No backlight, No macro capability, Rigid plastics may not appeal to everybody
  • The SteelSeries 7G is a gaming keyboard for those who look for functionality rather than form. It's a grown-ups keyboard for those who place usability over flashing lights, dials and LCD screens. Its remit was to create a gaming keyboard that does exa...

  • Brilliant Build Quality, Strong mechanical feel, Striking, but simple & reserved look, Long lifetime (50,000,000 taps), Useful media keys via function keys, Nicely shaped wrist rest
  • £100.... for a keyboard is pretty high, Small backspace key, Doesn't have build in flamethrowers or grenade launchers:P
  • So, a keyboard, for near £100.... is it worth it? Well, in my opinion - only if you use your keyboard a lot. Personally, I couldn't justify spending £100 on any keyboard - I barely ever get chance to play on my gaming rig these days. However...

  • The SteelSeries 7G gaming keyboard is certainly the most responsive and solidly built keyboard we've ever used so if you don't want any gimmicks and feel your current keyboard's performance is holding you back then it's certainly worth considering. Howeve...

  • Many users may overlook the importance of a good keyboard. It isn’t going to make your computer faster or your games look better, but in reality it can completely change your computing experience as a whole. There is a keyboard for everyone out ther...

  • Abstract:  Everyone wants a quieter keyboard now. Up until a year ago it may have been “cool” to sport an RGB mechanical keyboard at home, and to geek out on what kind of Cherry switch you preferred. But when everyone's working from home, clackety keyboards quickly...

  • Abstract:  With about nine mechanical keyboards piling up behind me, waiting to be inspected, weighed down and opened up, I think we should have a talk about mechas, a meta-review of sorts. Yes, it's time for gaming peripherals. Loads of 'em.The heavy mechanical key...
