  • Ultra compact; good key travel; RF storage in keyboard; travel slipcase; power on/off
  • No Mac-specific keys; can’t use Arc mouse with the same RF receiver
  • Powered via two AAA batteries you can turn the keyboard off to conserve power. If you're not a fan of Apple's wireless keyboards, you travel a great deal, or want a very compact and stylish keyboard; the Arc is a great choice

  • Stylish, compact design; good Mac software for programming function keys
  • No numeric keypad; uses separate USB wireless adaptor rather than Bluetooth
  • The official price is £49.99, but shop around and you can find it for about £30 at websites such as Amazon

  • Comfortable to type on; lightweight; easy to set up
  • Fairly expensive; direction buttons have been merged into a single button that's relatively awkward to use
  • The wireless Microsoft Arc Keyboard is lightweight, attractive and comfortable to use. At around £40, we wouldn't recommend it as a replacement for a standard keyboard, but, for anyone who regularly uses a computer as part of their home-entertainment ...
