  • If you're a PC performance or gaming enthusiast who needs to live on the cutting edge, an NVMe model such as the Samsung SSD 950 Pro is what you need to get. The only reason we aren't telling everybody to run out and buy one right now is that you'll need...

  • According to our tests, the Samsung SM951 (NVMe) is the fastest SSD available. It is even faster than the 950 Pro, while it is a lot cheaper as well. Bear in mind that you miss out on official Samsung support in the form of warranty, Magician and firmware...

  • Increasing performance through RAID 0 no longer has the same shine it once had. NVMe SSDs are fast enough to satisfy the most demanding user needs. We've hit a point where RAID 0 run off of a chipset gives diminishing returns.

  • Starting with the build quality of the 950 Pro we have no issues. In fact we've every confidence that the 950 Pro will be a very durable drive. Our experience with Samsung drives of previous generations is that they are rock solid, in fact we have only kn...

  • The benchmark results are clear: the Samsung 950 Pro is much faster than the fastest M.2 consumer SSDs which we previously tested. The Hardware.Info Performance Scores of 175 points for the 256GB version and 198 points for the 512GB version are signific...
