  • Plays all the common audio / video formats (mp3 / wma / avi / mpeg 1,2,4 / DVD vob etc), Simple to set up, Simple to use, Doesn’t need a pc once the files are transferred on to it, Takes IDE or Sata drives.
  • Doesn’t play .wmv or .mov. (A licence thing perhaps?), A little bit more expensive than the competition.
  • As a hard drive caddy the Vizo Milano offers nothing special so if that is all you are after then I suggest looking elsewhere, Vizo’s Luxon for example, as the £70 (without hard drive) the Milano seems to cost, looking around the internet, is a lot...

  • Vizo have had a great idea, provide an enclosure with a purpose above just storing information. However, this implementation isn’t without its flaws. Sluggish transfers, clunky menus, and generic theme and remote. The Milano feels like a proof-of-co...

  • This has been one of the first reviews of a multimedia storage's by Vizo. This hot new item is going to open allot of doors for Vizo. The style and performance of this unit is unmatched for what i have seen. The fact that it supports 1080i is going to ...

  • Easy to use, Silent operation, Media player builtin, Excellent playback quality, Lots of accessories included
  • Accepts IDE hard drives only, Boring interface
  • Overall, Vizo has an exciting product here with the Milano. It combines two useful products into one – an external USB hard drive enclosure plus a standalone multimedia player. This makes it possible to not only back up your favorite media files, bu...

  • Very easy to use interface on TV, Great playback performance, Optical audio output, Fanless, All required cables included, Up to 1080i resolution supported, Very solid construction, Remote control easy to use and with great range, Well packaged
  • Price may not be for everyone, USB 2.0 performance average, 1080p would have been nice, No HDMI connector, Ethernet connectivity has been left out, Installation not as easy as other enclosures
  • The Vizo Milano is certainly the best crafted enclosure I have ever used. The thick metal side panels and stury plastic make it almost indestrucible. The package is complete, with all required cables and a remote control. Even the use of the enclosure ...

  • More than just an HDD enclosure, Very easy to use, Looks great, Easy installation, Small and portable, Based on award winning Sigma Designs Real Magic EM8510 series chipsets
  • No HDMI output, Picky at times, sometimes it wont come on (firmware problem?), No active cooling/ventilation, No networking ability, Instructions are lacking
  • Considering this is a fairly new product there are bound to be bugs in it, so hopefully Vizo will keep up with things and support it with newer versions of the firmware. Overall it is a very cool and useful device, it is very easy to use, and installat...
