Using the Gen 2 Singlecue feels really cool, and the gesture tracking works well most of the time
The menu system the Singlecue uses to control various devices is convoluted and inefficient. Plus, you can't customize Alexa voice commands, sets of commands or personalized gestures

Awesome interface, the ability to gesture with one finger is nifty
Unlocking Singlecue on the first boot up can be hit or miss, It took a while to get used to not putting my finger in front of my face to make the commands
Unaffected by ambient noise, unlike voice-control systems, Works great, when it works, Not terribly expensive
Performs poorly in low light conditions, Requires precise positioning in relation to where you're sitting, Doesn't reliably recognize and respond to gestures
If it worked more reliably, Singlecue could be a better smart-home controller than Google Home or Amazon's Echo. But we can't recommend it in its current form...
