Awesome battery life without sacrificing highend performance. Refined design is comfortable, stylish and waterproof. Fantastic display that's both crisp and vibrant. Familiar camera hardware is still pretty decent.
Frustrating app prevents the camera from reaching its true potential. Software feels bland and outdated compared to the competition.
The Z3 might not be a significant change-up of Sony's flagship Xperia formula, but the combination of a bunch of minor tweaks and upgrades has made this handset one of the best on the market. I'll start with the standout feature of this handset: its batt...
Slim, refined design. Dust- and water-resistant. Excellent camera. Long battery life. PS4 game streaming.
Wi-Fi could be faster. Sony and T-Mobile bloat
The slender, long-lasting Sony Xperia Z3 appears iterative, but delivers one of the most roundly excellent Android experiences on T-Mobile and features exclusive PlayStation 4 game streaming capability....

Sony has a limited presence in the US with most of its devices being sold either overseas or at the US Sony Store as unlocked models for AT&T and T-Mobile customers. Verizon just recently launched the Sony Xperia Z3v, which is a variation of the Z3 I boug...
Display: While it still has some of the odd Sony white cast at certain angles, the Z3's 1080p LCD is extremely bright with excellent contrast for something that isn't an AMOLED. It also has superb white balance, making the Note 4's QHD SAMOLED look dingy
Camera: Did you like the camera on the Xperia Z1 and Z2? Great! It's back. It's still not amazing. This is somewhat frustrating considering what great consumer mirrorless cameras Sony is making. There are just so many issues here, so read the full camera
The Xperia Z3 is one of the best Android phones you can currently buy. It's quite nice looking (even if the glass back is kind of a miss for me), performs well, and has battery life that puts it a cut above rivals like the One M8, Galaxy S5, and G3.That s...

beautifully built, premium feeling, exceptional performance, excellent camera, water and dust proof construction, great battery life
software is inconsistent at times, notifications are rather low in volume, headphone volume could be higher
So, should you buy it? It's a small improvement over the Z2, which was a small improvement over the Z1.We'll say this: if you currently own a Z2, you might want to wait for the Z4, which should land early next year. If you are looking to upgrade your curr...
Right from the start of this camera comparison, we were confident that the Galaxy Note 4 was not going to disappoint. Our expectations were correct, as it turned out. Samsung's phablet and its remarkable 16MP camera got the highest final score, and it is ...
Further refined aesthetics, Great display experience, Great sound experience, Sturdy, IP certified design, Powerful camera, Minimalistic but very useful Xperia UI
Upgrade might not be substantial for veteran users, Performance package is a step behind current competition, Best camera features are disjointed

Samsung's Galaxy S5 is getting a bit long in the tooth already, just half a year after introduction, and Sony's six-month upgrade strategy seems like a winning bet when you have to choose between the S5 with the new Xperia Z3 this holiday season. It is sl...
Highly attractive, waterresistant body, One of the best cameras on an Android phone, Excellent battery life
Large and heavy, Underwhelming viewing angles, Tiny camera key
Sony Xperia Z3 Without a doubt, the Sony Xperia Z3 is a flagship on the level of — and in some ways above – the One (M8), Galaxy S5, or any other its better-known Android competitors. It's attractive and powerful, with top-tier battery life, clever int...
