Abstract: Sony Ericssons K800i was the first phone we reviewed that took photos good enough to print. The K800i had a 3.2-megapixel sensor, but the K850i comes with a digital camera-rivalling 5-megapixel sensor. Like the K800i, the K850i is half phone, half ...

Fiddly-to-use soft keys; navigation key and keypad
The Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-shot has one of the best cameras we have ever seen on a phone but the touch-sensitive soft keys take some time to get used to and the keys on the keypad are a little small for our liking ...
Takes fantastic quality photos. Feels like a proper digital camera in design and features. Dual-memory card format support. Supports fast HSDPA download speeds.
Tough plastic lens cover is prone to attract greasy smears. Redesigned keypad takes getting use to. Video recording quality still not up to scratch.
The first camphone to handle and act like a dedicated digital camera, the K850i takes the Cyber-shot family to new heights. ...
5 megapixel camera, HSDPA, dedicated camera controls, software, Best shot mode
Keypad confusing to use, no back button, chunky
With 5 megapixels on board and a stack of camera features, the K850 follows Sony Ericssons march on bring the gap between mobile phones and digital cameras ever closer
Sony Ericssons K850i is great piece of design, well built, nice to use and with all the features you expect from a top-end phone. We cant help but feel the T650 leaves it behind in the cool stakes, and what price a phone with the K850is camera ab...

Good camera, fresh design, HSDPA data
Annoying touch sensitive softkeys, awkward keypad and dpad, lackluster web browser
Overall the K850i is a great device, with a fantastic camera and a funky, contemporary design. It has plenty of great features, including an MP3 player, HSDPA capabilities, and Bluetooth A2DP, but also gets all the essentials right with good reception,...

The Sony Ericsson K850i has a gorgeous display, a wide range of features, and desirable sound quality. Its also a fantastic camera phone with outstanding photo quality.
The Sony Ericsson K850is navigation array and touch controls take a little getting used to. Also, the keypad buttons are rather small.
Though its navigation controls and keypad arent up to par, the Sony Ericsson K850i is one of the finest camera phones weve seen.
The dedicated camera buttons (on/off, shutter, zoom, photo/video/playback) on the side go a long way toward making this feel like a real point and shoot. It takes good photos in average daylight situations and has a powerful flash. It comes with a sta...
Truly pocketsize; accelerometer allows quickflips between landscape and portrait. Swift and seamless, onthego publishing to Blogger. Alwayson headlight option for dim video shoots. BestPic takes rapid sequence of nine images bonus: "best" recommendation i...
No optical zoom. Sluggish Auto Fix takes 3045 seconds per pic. Snapping shots silences FM radio. No WiFi, no GPS, no geocoded vaca pics. Neither a 3.5 mm nor a 2.5mm headhpone jack (better RFID that Sony FastPort set of earbuds!)
