  • Crisp keyboard. Good battery life. Wi-Fi. Powerful speakerphone. True world phone.
  • Stock Windows Mobile 6.5 is fiddly and buggy. Poor Web browser. Clumsy music and video players. Must pull the battery to swap microSD cards. Ill-fitting battery cover.
  • The Samsung Intrepid makes a decent business smartphone for anyone needing mobile access to Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and Office. For anything more, there are far better choices on Sprint....

  • As a fan of Messenger-class smartphones, I can’t say the Intrepid is one of the better devices I’ve used, but it is an acceptable choice for all but power users. Its finicky signal strength is my main complaint, but I’m also disappointed...

  • Wide QWERTY keyboard, Long talk time, Speedy Web browsing, Above average 3.2MP camera, Clear, loud conversations,
  • Runs Windows Mobile 6.5, Requires stylus for many operations, Poor touchscreen experience, Odd on-screen dialpad layout, Unnecessary pop-up-screen QWERTY option, *
  • Most of the Samsung Intrepid's flaws can be laid at the feet of the disappointing OS. On the hardware side, the Intrepid is actually a well-designed if utterly boring handset. But what's the point? A similarly-priced BlackBerry, Palm Pré or H...

  • The Samsung Intrepid fits into the "middle of the road" category of devices. It's not bad, but it's not great -- and though it's one of the first new devices with Windows Mobile 6.5, it really doesn't offer anything that sets it apart from the rest of...

  • The Samsung Intrepid ships with Windows Mobile 6.5 and includes Microsoft's Tellme voice-activated service. The world phone features a touch screen, an easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard, and upgraded camera. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G are all onboard.
  • Keyboard feels a bit cheap. The smartphone has a lower resolution screen than competitors.
  • While not the flashiest smartphone on the block, the Samsung Intrepid offers Sprint customers an affordable and solid messaging world phone. Read full review See all prices Check coverage in your area

  • Great keyboard. Long lasting battery. Improved Web browsing over older versions of Internet Explorer mobile. Windows Mobile Marketplace still blossoming. ...
  • Media player, scheduling apps untouched, need serious work. Buggy system had strange problems. New interface design hardly an improvement. Touchscreen seems unnecessary. ...
  • The Samsung Intrepid is not a very exciting Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone, especially compared with some of the new models that are hitting the market. It mostly reminds us of AT&T's Samsung Jack, though there are a few solid improvements beyond the...

  • Very good QWERTY keyboard, excellent MS Exchange support.
  • Small touch screen isn't that easy to use.
