The editors didn't like
No Moto Maker for India
Sluggish Camera
Tad expensive in front of competition
Despite the remarkable shutter speed
The camera still leaves a lot to be desired. You can ignore Motorola's claims of better low-light shooting. The low-light photos look awful. There's so much splotchy noise it almost looks like a watercolor
Very good build, Rubber-coated back, Innovative and useful features, Decent software bundle, High application and gaming performance, Decent camera, Good AMOLED screen
No Full HD resolution, Casing's design inconsistent, Few accessories available, Only middling battery runtimes

Now it's finally hit the UK, we review the Motorola Moto X, and ask how it compares with the Moto G and the Nexus 5 from Google... Motorola launched its snazzy Moto X handset States-side last year, but us Brits had to make do with the cut-price Moto G (...

Abstract: This week Google shocked the tech world by announcing that it was selling Motorola Mobility to Lenovo. While that raises lots of questions about future Motorola phones, it doesn't take anything away from the company's current flagship, made entirely under...
Abstract: Gigabit Wi-Fi is starting to appear in mobile devices, so we got our hands on three smartphones and two laptops running the 802.11ac standard and put them to the test. Though you won't see anywhere near Gigabit speeds in real-world environments, our testi...
Abstract: The Motorola Moto X is a flagship Motorola smartphone and the first of the company's Google-owned era. It features a curved back to fit comfortably in your hand and a 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display with 720p resolution. That's less resolution and a smaller sc...

Moto Maker restricted to AT&T, On-contract pricing should be lower
The Moto X hits a sweet spot with its user-friendly, always-on software features. At $199, though, it's priced a bit too high for a mid-range phone....
Our first impressions of the Moto X are a mixed bag. We're fans of its vanilla Android 4.4 Kitkat user interface and its 10MP camera, and the £380 price point makes it affordable for a broad base of users. However, the handset still seems somewhat lacking...
The Moto X does a lot of things right – the size, shape, stock UI, customization. I enjoy using the Moto X a lot more than I thought I would, and think Motorola hit a home run with the Moto X in the size and shape department. It comes in at $99 on a 2 ...

Comparing the Moto G to the Moto X makes it fairly obvious that compromises have to be made in order to justify a price tag of $179 unlocked and free of any contract. The sacrifices made in texture, camera, and connectivity options make the Moto X a b...
