  • At $300, the Huawei Honor is probably the best budget smartphone on the market (where it's actually available, of course). But for most Americans, if you're not on a regional wireless provider with really low rates, or looking for a second smartphone y...

  • The Huawei Honor has an easy-to-use interface overlaying Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and a mega battery that promises lengthy talk times
  • You don't get all the performance you'd expect from the specs, including the 8-megapixel camera. Call quality was also harsh in our tests, and the unlocked price is a probable deterrent for U.S. customers
  • The Huawei Honor may be a step up from most of the company's devices that we get our hands on, but U.S. customers should seek local versions of the Android smartphone, like the Huawei Mercury with Cricket.

  • Camera, Stock Android, Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Speed, Screen Resolution, Weight
  • The Huawei Honor has again struck me as another quality phone that for the price you really can't go too far wrong with, at times it can slow down to a crawl or become un-responsive but the majority of the time you tend to be able to navigate around with ...

  • Plastic design feels a bit cheap, display is a real fingerprint magnet, and only 1 GB of onboard storage

  • Excellent battery life; mininalist UI; multiple keyboard input options.
  • Camera does not impress; screen doesn't fare well outdoors; preinstalled apps you can't remove.
