  • Sleek and sexy design, Integrated GPS and multimedia features, Quadband smartphone with Bluetooth, push email, a full QWERTY keyboard and long talktime battery life
  • Lacks 3G support and integrated WiFi, Phone is quite wide and awkward to hold, The media player could also use some refinements, and instant messaging is limited to the BlackBerry Messenger client

  • Still the gold standard for easy email on the go. Sat-nav works well and has some neat added features. Battery life is superb – unless you’re using sat-nav. ...
  • It plays video, but why no built-in camera? And why no 3G, HSDPA or Wi-Fi? Sat-nav a real battery drain....

  • Abstract:  When the BlackBerry 8800 debuted in 2007, it was quite sleek for a BlackBerry phone. The BlackBerry 8800 was, at the time, the thinnest full QWERTY BlackBerry device. Today, the BlackBerry 8800 has largely been surpassed by newer BlackBerry phones, suc...

  • Beautiful display. Integrated GPS ideal for business travelers in new cities. Easy email setup wizard and full QWERTY keyboard means youre always connected to the office. Long battery life for such a large device.
  • No WiFi or 3G web connection. Phones shape makes gripping it awkward. Call quality is sometimes muddled. Media player seems like an afterthought. Nonintuitive menus make transferring music and video a pain. Those with sausage fingers will have problems wi...

  • Thin, trackball is nice, good keyboard
  • Disorganized UI, no camera
  • Our BlackBerry 8800 was running firmware v4.2.1.74There is no denying that the RIM BlackBerry 8800 is a very nice device. It is modern looking, yet still offers the same smartphone functionality and the push email system of the older BlackBerry phones....
