  • This is a phone for Amazon's whales, the very top customers. Just like how you had to be an Apple die-hard to pay $600 for the first-gen iPhone, this first Fire Phone will be the most tempting for people all-in with Amazon for everything from shopping to...

  • Easy Amazon shopping, Decent battery life, 24/7 live tech support
  • Unintuitive UI, 720p display, Expensive
  • The Fire Phone has what you need for a modern smartphone to be acceptable. It has a high definition screen, though nowhere near the resolution of Android flagship devices. It also has a decent 13MP camera, though it's not on par with the likes of the LG ...

  • Although it costs the same (or more) as competing Android and iPhone models, the Fire Phone delivers a less extensive app store and service experience and more sluggish performance. Battery life is disappointing
  • Despite its daring aspirations and 3D-like party tricks, the brave, new Fire Phone's lack of Google services will alienate anyone who expects the flexibility of a modern Android phone....

  • Overall, the Fire phone is a solid deal: You get all the smartphone basics, with some added bonuses, for a price that's in line with the market. Neither the gesture controls nor Firefly are life-changing, but they're fun and useful. The GIFs in this review...

  • Abstract:  The Fire has a 4.7in, 720p display, which spec fans will view as lacklustre compared to the plethora of full HD (or even 2K) screens out there. But the Fire has a rather large trick up its sleeve. 3D.No, not the awful lenticular 3D display that plagued the...
