I honestly loved how easy it was to get familiar with the Q500. The fact that you can also buy a full kit with an aluminum case and extra batteries makes it seem like the best all-you-really-need drone package out there. It's not only easy to fly thanks t

I missed the jerky little DJI Phantom at times. While I appreciated the flexible range of speeds offered by Yuneec's ST10+ ground control
I wanted the handling to be a little bit sharper at times. This feeling was emboldened by my test of the Blade drone

Great design, Awesome remote control with built-in tablet, 4K UHD video and 12 MP photos, Lots of accessories included, Excellent price, Solid flyer, Easy to learn and flip switch to return home
Slightly less agile than the Phantom 3 from DJI, Slightly lower flight time, Heavy battery
If you want a really awesome drone package with lots of accessories and extras for a great price, then the Yuneec Typhoon Q500 is a superb deal. It's also a great flyer and manages some very good footage. It easy to fly and returns home by simply flippin...
I had a blast reviewing the Typhoon Q500 4K drone. It's great for beginner levels of drone enthusiasts. It's an easy drone to learn with (if I can learn, anyone can), you get more than decent 4K camera, and 2 batteries to work with. If you don't want...
The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K offers smooth, stable flight for grabbing photos and video from the air as well as the ground with its included handgrip. All-in-one controller with first-person-view screen and camera controls. Comes with two batteries, two set
The Typhoon Q500 4K's size isn't travel-friendly. There's no support for waypoint navigation. The overall design could use some polish. Video quality is good, but best viewed at small sizes on tablets and phones
Thanks to some useful accessories and a solid feature set, the smooth-flying, easy-to-use Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K quadcopter is a compelling package for video and photos in the sky or on the ground...

4K video capture, Slow motion possible at 1080p, Remote control with integrated LCD, Includes hard case and two batteries, Removable camera with handheld video mount, Very quiet during flight,
Lens is blurry at edges of frame, Automatic white balance can be inconsistent, Larger than comparable drones, Battery charger can get very hot, Camera gimbal is slow to adjust, Bulky case isn't easy to tote

Easy to fly even for those who've never laid eyes on a drone before. Quick and easy setup. Controller includes a nice, if a little small, Android displayno need for phones or batterydraining mobile apps. Price is right
Big, heavy and slow. What makes it great for beginners makes it less great for those used to the nimbleness of other drones. The range is limited compared to similarly specced models from other manufacturers

Are you just starting to become a serious drone pilot, one that’s willing to shell out more than a G for a very versatile craft? Then, yes, you should buy it. I’ve flown a lot of drones, but I’ve seldom felt so confident and safe behind the controls as I...

Long battery life, Big, clear screen on remote, Useful tracking features
Controller is overly complicated, Video is a little noisy
The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K is a powerful drone with numerous flight modes and high-quality video, but some of the features are overcomplicated and difficult to use...

Abstract: It's rare that I get my hands on a gadget these days that lives up to my expectations, let alone exceeds them, but Yuneec did both with their incredible Typhoon Q500 4K drone. This is no toy quadcopter. This is a serious piece of aerial filmmaking equipme...
