  • Changes channels incorrectly on occasion; glossy black surface prone to smudging

  • Easy to use once programmed, Tons of programming options, Works well, Backlit buttons
  • Deep custom programming can be difficult, Components can get out of sync with activities

  • Excellent setup software. Color touch-screen LCD. Feels lighter and more comfortable than its predecessor. Better buttons.
  • Pricey. Touch screen requires you to look at the remote to be sure you hit the correct buttons. Glossy black finish shows fingerprints and is prone to smudges.
  • Logitechs newest universal remote features better ergonomics and adds a gorgeous color touch-screen display, but still offers dead-simple programming and one-touch control over all your home-theater gear....

  • Most of the features of the Harmony 1000i for $300 less, new touchscreen LCD, rechargeable cradle for Lithium Ion battery, favourite channel buttons with graphics.
  • Still $400 for a remote, awkward with idiosyncratic devices, confusing to use for tech illiterates, software obtrusive on your PC.
