  • Tiny , VoiceOver feature is quite good , Cheap , 4GB of storage , Well suited to use while exercising ,
  • So-so sound , Proprietary headphones , Won't work with iPod docks, other headphones or speaker systems , No controls on main unit ,
  • The Apple iPod Shuffle (3rd generation) is not bad as a budget player, but it has too many limitations for us to recommend it....

  • In-line controls are easier to access when jogging/walking, minimalist design, VoiceOver feature, supports multiple playlists, 4GB storage
  • Too small, can’t use standard third-party headphones, shuffle slider button too small, multiple click sequences are frustrating
  • If you are the type of person who will simply switch on your iPod and let it play, then the new iPod shuffle may appeal to you. As it stands, though, Apple’s latest music player is too small, uses a frustrating control system and doesn’t allow...

  • Small and lightweight; playlists can be chosen; large storage capacity.
  • Complex controls; cannot use thirdparty earphones.
  • The iPod shuffle is an improvement over its predecessor as it can select playlists, has a larger storage to hold more songs and is smaller in size. However, the lack of buttons on the player means you have to memorise complex commands, which is not wh...

  • Abstract:  Der Apple iPod Shuffle der dritten Generation ist ein reines Musikabspielgerät. Die kompakten Abmessungen und der praktische Clip auf der Rückseite erlauben ein breites Einsatzspektrum.
