  • Abstract:  Each of the products tested here offers some degree of improvement over the iPhone’s stock headset. For fans of basic earbuds, the Maximo iP-HS1 is a solid product, but at $70, it’s tough to recommend as an elective upgrade given that it&...

  • Strong bass, Comfortable, Decent isolation
  • Button is difficult to find by touch, Mic doesn’t block wind noise well

  • Affordable. Works with iPhone for answering and placing calls. A big step up from Apples bundled earbuds. Blocks out some outside noise.
  • Audio quality is adequate but by no means excellent. Skull-embazoned design isnt for everyone.
  • Skullcandys iPhone FMJ earphones are on the lower end of the earbud-upgrade spectrum in terms of price and overall quality, but they work well with the iPhone and deliver respectable audio that doesnt distort at higher volumes....

  • There is a reason Skullcandy chose the Full Metal Jackets headsets to represent their product line for Apple iPhones, these headsets rock! Even though they are a little bass heavy, the power, sound balance, and voice quality when speaking rival the ...

  • Great sound, both in and out. They have skulls.
  • Pricey. Silicone tips slip out of ears. They have skulls.
  • The FMJ earbuds are a fairly pricey $79.95—that’s $50 more than the Apple iPhone earbuds but $20 less than the V-Moda Vibe Duo earphones. But if you want quality sound and better-fitting iPhone earbuds, the $50 difference will be easily forgot...
