  • Although the noise isolation on the Sennheiser CX300 is pretty good, the overall sound quality is where the headphones shine. The bass is not over the top but the clarity in the mids and highs make up for that. In order to get a favorable bass response, it is pertinent that you choose the right cushion for your ear. They also stay securely snug inside of the ear canal, despite frequent activity.
  • The cord on the Sennheiser CX300 is asymmetrical, meaning that the length on the earbuds is not even. One side is 53 inches in length while the other is 60 inches. If you don’t mind the wire slack on one side, then it’s forgivable. Also, for the price, it would have been nice if the Sennheiser CX300 came with a couple of convenient amenities such as a storage case.
  • The Sennheiser CX300 is a choice set of in-canal earbuds that provide quality sound for MP3, CD, DVD and other portable players. The Sennheiser CX300 comes with three ear adapters that supply a customized fit. ...

  • Now I know these aren’t professional in-ear headphones like ones from Sure but the price is also not as stupid as the professional in-ear monitors. The Sennheiser CX300 will set you back around 50 to 70 dollars depending where you buy them, witch is...

  • Custom sleeves for proper fitting Good sound quality Reasonably priced
  • Poor sound isolation Feel fragile
  • Though the CX300 can’t compete with other canalphones we have reviewed, clocking in at half the price, and with unmatched comfort, the CX300 comes out on top for value. The unique hybrid design of being part canalphone, part ear bud will appeal to t...

  • Good sound quality, reduces outside noise
  • Somewhat pricey for earbuds
  • The Sennheiser CX 300 headphones arent your typical earbuds. These are designed to fit gently but snugly inside the opening to the ear canal, which accomplishes two things. First, while it doesnt cancel out ambient sound, it does significantly reduc...

  • The Sennheiser CX 300 offers solid sound quality, significant isolation from outside sounds, and an ultralightweight design, as well as three sizes of silicon ear tips to ensure a perfect fit--all for well less than $100.
  • The Sennheiser CX 300 doesnt come with a travel pouch or any other accessories.
  • If youre looking for an affordable, decent-sounding pair of earbuds, start with the Sennheiser CX 300. Sennheisers first in-ear design sounds like a winner to us.

  • Aesthetically pleasing, Excellent bass levels, Price
  • Mid Range lacks some detail The Final Word For their price, the CX 300’s offer a more than adequate replacement for your standard iPod headphones in terms of sound quality; and you’ll also be pretty pleased with their bass levels.
