Great bass, Attractive and sturdy styling, Good noise blockage, Dual jacks for music sharing or switching cable sides
Heavy, Headband a bit tight, No inline remote
The Beats Pro by Dr. Dre are sturdy and cool-looking, but for that much money we wish they were more comfortable.
Lowend is alive and well; solid construction down to the cable; dual input/output audio ports; comfy ear cups that can also be easily wiped clean,
Could be too heavy to wear for some; Flipup ear cups are a nice touch but don’t work to well in practical use; carrying case is a bit disappointing.
The Beats Pro are certainly an impressive looking pair of headphones. There hasn't been one person who hasn't commentated on them when I take them out of my bag or travel with them. This time around Beats got it right by constructing a pair of headpho...
The Beats Pro are still garish in terms of design, one that screams, "Look at me," but there's no denying their build quality which appears very solid and built for the long haul, The Beats Pro's ear cups are well padded and comfortable and able to be removed and even washed to ensure they remain so fresh and so clean, The Beats Pro's dual input/output option is a nice feature and one that is
The Beats Pro headphones are not as travel friendly as earlier designs, thanks to their more robust padding and construction, though I'd take their improved build quality over portability any day, The Beats Pro headphones are heavy, really heavy and while comfortable they're not easily forgotten, making extended listening sessions a bit fatiguing, The Beats Pro headphones can be powered by po
It's always nice to revisit a formerly dreadful product and come away the second time pleasantly surprised, which is precisely what has happened following my demo of the Beats Pro headphones. Across the board, everything about the Beats Pro's performan...
Eye-catching design, Excellent midrange and treble response, Excellent detail, Great sensitivity
Hefty, sometimes distracting bass response, Heavy
The Beats Pro saving grace is the fantastic midrange and treble quality which was so good that we found ourselves forgiving them for their heavy handed bass treatment. ...
Powerful but not overwhelming bass, Distinct, clean highrange sounds, High quality construction, Tasteful but unique design, Flipup cups, daisychain audio, Detachable cord,
Expensive for casual listeners, Heavy, Lack of internal amp may affect some output, No mic or remote.
The Beats Pro isn't the highest-end over-ear headphone set available, but it's certainly targeted at the musical elite, and that may be their only major barrier. Many can’t imagine spending $100 on a pair of headphones, let alone $450. To some extent, ...
Abstract: Now How do you improve an amazing set of headphones like the Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster Beats Studios? It’s a tough job, but Monster has outdone themselves in all the ways I hoped they would with a new model. The Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster Beats...
Excellent audio performance with strong, but not overwhelming, bass response. DJ-style flip-up ears for mixing. Detachable cable and jacks on each ear piece.
Expensive. Not comfortable when worn for long periods of time.
Outfitted with flip-up ear cups and a detachable cable to suit the modern DJ, the Beats Pro by Dr. Dre from Monster offers high quality audio performance. Buy it now...
Abstract: The Beats Pro by Dr. Dre. at $399.95 (direct) is a serious pair of headphones designed for the modern DJ. The ear cups flip backwards to free one ear, the cable is detachable, and jacks on both ear cups act not only as inputs, but as outputs to send ...
Abstract: Over the past several years, Monster has successfully moved beyond its beachhead in cables and accessories to build not one but two wide and popular lines of headphones—one line under the Monster name and the other under the new Beats by Dr. Dre bran...
Quality construction; dual input/output audio ports for communal listening; thumping bass; ear cushions can be removed and replaced
May not be comfortable for everyone, weight is a little on the heavy side, some songs can sound harsh, travel case doesn't match up to the professional packaging of its predecessors
The Beats Pro by Dr. Dre from Monster Headphones deliver a sturdy design and top-notch sound quality for those who enjoy skull-shattering bass. If you're a casual listener and can afford them, they're a worthy investment, but if you're an audio purist...
