  • HD Traffic, large screen, Live services, Easy to use, ETA pretty spot on
  • Resistive screen won't be as good as your phone, Not all directions are perfect, HD Traffic will cost after 1st year,
  • What the Go Live 825 gives you though is a very good, very easy to use GPS that will get you to the ball on time, every time....

  • Abstract:  The TomTom Go Live 825 satnav has been introduced by TomTom as part of their 'connected' range of GPS devices; 'connected' signifying their wide scale of available features.Available to buy for under £200, the Go Live 825 Europe represents a chunky inv...

  • HD Traffic; resistive touch screen,
  • Nonremovable mount; no battery charge indicator.
  • We prefer the 5in resistive screen of the GO LIVE 825 over its more expensive siblings, but the captive mount is nowhere near as good. In terms of features and functions, however, it has everything found in the rest of the GO LIVE range, so if your bud...

  • LIVE services for those who do a lot of driving: traffic info and speed cameras, Good overall responsiveness, Interface is clear and easy to use, Big screen, superb finish, Compact, builtin mount
  • Unreliable voice recognition, Just one stage possible in journey planning, A few map errors (common to all models with TeleAtlas maps)
  • No surprises, the TomTom GO LIVE 825 is just as good as the VIA LIVE 125 that it replaces. Well designed, well finished and affordable, it has a nice display and is simple to use. The LIVE services are a major added value on this model, particularly th...

  • Comprehensive maps, Live traffic updates and intelligent routing, Simple, easy-to-use interface, POI much improved, Hassle-free navigation, even on complex junctions
  • Live services cost extra after first year, Plenty of cheaper or free alternatives, Touchscreen could be more responsive

  • 5in screen, LIVE services, European maps
  • LIVE services require subscription, Mount not detachable
  • There's nothing particularly revolutionary about TomTom's GO LIVE 825. It bundles together features that the company already offered in other devices. In fact, it's almost like a hybrid of the recent Via and previous GO LIVE models. But in a market where ...

  • Easy to use, HD Traffic service is free for the first year,
  • Voice recognition is useless, AU$69.95/year is a steep price for HD Traffic,
  • There's nothing intrinsically wrong with the TomTom Go Live 825, but where it falls down is on the question of value....
