  • Ninja Gaiden has the distinction of being known as one of the toughest games ever made. Its various iterations (Ninja Gaiden Black for the Xbox and Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PlayStation 3) were tougher than the original game and brought even the most ...

  • Eye-popping graphics and effects that put you inside the game. The gameplay is effective and different but constantly challenges your button smashing abilities. Controls are unique but range from simple to complex.
  • The sound is not used nearly enough and is sometimes needed in important parts of the game. The difficulties are amazingly hard and starting on easy is recommended.

  • Abstract:  A few years ago Ninja Gaiden arguably set the standard for action games. It was loved for many a reason, but if you asked its most ardent fans they would be adamant that they treasured the title because of its firm but fair difficulty level. Regretfull...

  • Beyond being easier and ‘more accessible’ Ninja Gaiden hasn’t really evolved these last few years. Not the game we had hoped for. 7.3/10Print this pageUser reviews (0)Share this pageNoticed something wrong? Report error/mistake....

  • Graphics, fight dynamics, pace, plenty of gore, weapons
  • Storyline somewhat comical, missing a key can lead to tedious backtracking
  • With thick and fast action, Ninja Gaiden II will appeal to fans of fighting games across the board

  • Gory, slice and dice combat, Easyaccess submenu, Punishing difficulty makes victory that much sweeter
  • Horrible camera that gets stuck behind things, Lousy level graphics don't jibe with prettylooking gore, Punishing difficulty makes victory nighimpossible

  • Abstract:  Just as I had expected, Ninja Gaiden II for the Xbox 360 is an exhilarating, gore-filled ride that's heavy on action and not much else. All the best elements from prior Team Ninja offerings are present and accounted for, along with a few changes and impro...

  • This can be an enjoyable game, but only gamers of the utmost perseverance will be able to extract its full value. For me, it was a very solid rental, worth playing, which I will promptly delete from my hard-drive and forget about. It really feels like ...

  • Abstract:  Ryu Hayabusa returns for a second helping of slicing and dicing. Its an old-fashioned video game that appeals the players bloodiest fascinations. Sometimes, thats a good thing. At first glance, Ninja Gaiden II bears little resemblance to the origin...

  • Unbelievably fast paced action; Amazing weapon animations; Rewarding challenge; Regenerating health system and obliteration techniques are great additions to an already stellar combat system; Intelligent and extremely aggressive enemy AI.
  • Frustrating camera; Brutal difficulty may be too much for many gamers to handle; Ocassional frame-rate issues; Weak storyline.
  • Ninja Gaiden 2 may not be for everyone, but regardless of that it is still one of the deepest and most rewarding pure action games to be found on this current generation of consoles.
