  • Abstract:  Atlus is known for being willing to give a chance to some rather unusual games, going forward with ideas that other publishers and developers wouldn’t risk. Catherine is their latest effort along those lines, mixing the conflict of a love triangle and ...

  • Abstract:  Meet Vincent Brooks. He's probably a lot like you. At 32 years of age, Vincent is unambitious and in a long-term relationship with the dependable but frustrated Katherine who has been dropping not-so-subtle hints about marriage. Most of his friends w...

  • Abstract:  If you had to put a name on it, I suppose you'd call Catherine a puzzle game. After all, a sizable portion of the game -- well more than half of it -- is spent pushing and pulling boxes in a series of challenges that can trace their ancestry straight b...

  • Abstract:  Catherine is a Persona series spin-off that throws out the school-crawling RPG gameplay and replaces it with unforgiving block pushing puzzles, an (un)healthy dose of sexual innuendo, and then caps that off with multiple story endings. Intrigued? Keep ...

  • Intriguing plot, good presentation and voice acting. Moderately high degree of difficulty. Extra challenge levels available outside the main campaign. Hypnotic title screen.
  • The social interaction aspect isn’t for everyone, some of the cut-scenes drag, some choices present a blatant false dichotomy while others appear superfluous.

  • origineller Spielansatz, motiviert durch die spannende Geschichte, glaubwürdige Figuren mit hohem Identifikationswert, technisch sauber umgesetzter, unaufdringlicher Animestil, stilsichere Präsentation
