  • Abstract:  The Trauma Center games deliver two things: fast-paced, tension-filled surgeries where steady hands and accuracy will get you higher rankings, and insane melodramatic storylines. Trauma Team continues both of those series trademarks, but now the actu...

  • Abstract:  Atlus is one of Nintendo’s best third party supporters and a lot of people probably don’t even realize it. From the DS onward, Atlus has been onboard with Nintendo’s “creativity first” approach, delivering strange but undeniably unique experiences on N...

  • New play modes provide much needed variety; challenging gameplay; genuinely good use of the Wii controls.
  • Some play modes work better than others; requires too much precision at times; storylines are disposable.

  • Trauma Team's greatest moments emerge in the surgery and first response chapters, because they're fast-paced, thrilling and they require a fair amount of skill and speed to complete (especially if you're going for a high ranking). I also enjoyed the fo...

  • Three difficulty levels. Lots of new medical procedures to take part in. Hints in Forensics and Diagnosis Modes tell you if you still need to find a symptom. Characters are all quite likable. Controls are fairly intuitive and work well. “Extras” unlock after beating the game - new difficulty, extra voiced scenes and 48 medals to win.
  • Endoscopic Mode multiplayer is frustrating. Healing Touch is gone. Sometimes the game doesn’t mention what color vial of medicine you need to treat certain afflictions when there are more than two available.

  • Abstract:  In 2005, Atlus introduced the gaming world to the Trauma Center series, which let players take the role of surgeons in a futuristic world using the DS touch screen and stylus. Since then, the franchise has moved to the Wii, adapting the system’s motion...

  • Abstract:  Ah, the world of Trauma Team. It's a pretty unique place with pretty unique people. Everyone seems to have either huge boobs or huge noses. Everyone's relatively attractive, yet strangely familiar looking at the same time. Everyone lives their lives...

  • Abstract:  Pros: Varied gameplay, engrossing stories.Cons: Some surgical procedures are just plain dull. A brilliant surgeon is let out of prison to perform a special operation. An orthopedist moonlights as a masked avenger. A diagnostician bonds with a very smar...

  • Some play modes work better than others, requires too much precision at times, storylines are disposable
  • Even though it's occasionally bogged down by unwieldy precision-based controls and a somewhat silly storyline, Trauma Team captures what made the Trauma Center games great, and expands on the tried-and-true medical formula with a wide assortment of new do...
